About Math calculators

Most math problems that come up in real life don't need a textbook - they need a quick, reliable calculation with the formula visible so you can trust the answer. Our math tools cover the full range from everyday calculations (percentage, fraction, ratio) through to the more involved ones (probability, statistics, quadratic equations, logarithms, permutations and combinations, matrix operations, big-number arithmetic, and geometry). Each result shows the formula and working, so you can verify it independently or use it to understand the method rather than just get a number.

Why a browser calculator beats a phone calculator

Phone calculators usually lack scientific functions, lose history when you scroll away, and don't show you how the answer was computed. Our scientific calculator supports parentheses, all trig and inverse-trig functions, log, ln, factorial, exponent, and a custom expression evaluator that's safe (no eval). The fraction calculator preserves exact rationals - no rounding errors. The big-number calculator uses BigInt for arbitrary-precision math up to thousands of digits.

Geometry, probability and statistics

The geometry section covers area and volume of every common shape, plus right-triangle and Pythagorean tools, distance and slope between two points, and circle math. Probability and combinatorics handle nCr, nPr, and dice / coin / draw probabilities. The statistics section computes mean, median, mode, standard deviation, sample size, z-score, and confidence interval - useful for class projects, research papers, and quick sanity checks.

Show your work

Every result is shown in plain numbers and where useful, in scientific notation. Many tools include a step-by-step breakdown, so the calculator becomes a teaching aid rather than a black box. If you spot an answer you don't trust, the formula and inputs are right there - the math is auditable.
